Brian Kane

Early in Brian Kane’s career, he worked for Silvio Coppola, a renowned architect and multi-disciplinary designer based in Milan, Italy. Upon Brian’s return to the U.S., he secured positions with Atelier International (A.I) in New York City and the Metropolitan Furniture Corporation (Metro), where he became Vice President of Design and Product Development. In 1989, Brian established Kane Design Studio in San Francisco, developing products for high profile American and European companies, including the Flex Series for Martin Brattrud. Kane’s work has won over 80 design awards and has been exhibited at the Whitney and Brooklyn Museums in New York and the Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco.
