Response

There is nothing more important to us than the health and safety of our employees, families, colleagues and community. While no one at Martin Brattrud has been diagnosed with COVID-19, we stand with our community in following the CDC and California Department of Public Health guidelines.

In order to protect the public health, especially those most vulnerable, on March 19, 2020 the City of Los Angeles issued the Safer at Home Emergency Order. This order requires us to close our offices and suspend manufacturing at our factories in Gardena, California until April 20, 2020.

Our partnership with you–our reps, dealers, and the design community is the foundation of our business. Keeping communication flowing is more important now than ever. To keep you informed, we will post updates here as we have them. And as always, we invite you to reach out with any questions or needs you may have.

Updates

Manufacturing & Shipping

The Safer at Home Emergency Order issued by the City of Los Angeles on March 19, 2020 requires that we pause operations in our factory until April 20, 2020, or until the order is revised or cancelled. During this time, manufacturing is paused and no orders can be shipped.

While the factory is currently closed, we are preparing for reopening now. We will still be accepting shipments of textiles and materials. We are gearing up for the overtime hours that may be needed to catch up. And we are evaluating time-sensitive orders to be given special consideration.

Orders & Customer Service

Many of our Customer Service Representatives are working remotely and available through email. Orders will continue to be acknowledged and processed within 3 to 5 business days.
