Refer to the chart to determine the zone to which products are to be shipped and calculate fixed freight costs as a percentage of the COM NET price based on Martin Brattrud’s standard discount from List. We will ship all furniture orders via Martin Brattrud Guaranteed Furniture Freight Program unless you have provided other instructions on your purchase order. Martin Brattrud will select the carrier and include the pre-calculated fixed freight rate as a part of your invoice.
Martin Brattrud has a minimum freight charge of $200.00 NET per shipment. All freight charges are for normal delivery to the dock only and include cartoning. The title of goods will change at the time merchandise is received at your receiving dock/destination.
Any damages noticed at the time of delivery will need to be photographed and sent to Martin Brattrud immediately to begin the freight claim process. Please photograph the outside of the box and the merchandise damage extensively. All freight claims are the responsibility of Martin Brattrud to file. The speed to correct any damages noticed at the time of delivery will be aided with immediate notification from you. We will be able to get corrected merchandise into production quickly after notification.
Concealed freight damages will be determined on a case by case basis with Martin Brattrud and must be reported within 5 business days. Any extended lengths of time that merchandise with damage is unreported to Martin Brattrud increases the likelihood that the freight carrier is not at fault and will become your responsibility for replacement.
