Experienced Furniture Upholsterer

Martin Brattrud is a leading manufacturer of hand crafted seating and tables for the contract market located in Garden California.  We are looking for a skilled furniture upholsterer with experience in a manufacturing environment.

 

Job Description:

This role will report to the Vice President of Production.  As a key member of the upholstery team, this role will be to upholster starting from a frame using a variety of materials to create high quality furniture.

 

Job Responsibilities:

- Upholstery using a variety of materials, including: foam, textiles, leather and faux leather

- Working with channels, tufting, welts, buttons and other detailed upholstery techniques

- Upholstering a range of products, including: stools, chairs, poufs, sofas, banquettes and more

- Consistently meet deadlines

- Be receptive and responsive to constructive feedback

 

Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of upholstery experience

- Existing knowledge of upholstery techniques 

- An eye for quality and finishing touches

- Adapts to change 

- Detail oriented and organized

- Spanish comprehension is a plus, but not necessary 

 

Compensation is dependent on experience.
