HBF Textiles + Martin Brattrud

Welcome HBF Textiles
Martin Brattrud is excited to share that HBF Textiles is now included in The Textile Edit.

The Textile Edit is our program of curated fabrics which have been tested and approved to work across our entire range of products. Colors in the program have been carefully chosen to compliment and harmonize with our newly refreshed range of powder coat colors and vibrant water-based ash dyes.

La Duna is upholstered in contrast colors from HBF's Stardust collection.

HBF Textiles is a leading producer of contemporary textiles, blending art and craft to create inspiring products. North Carolina’s two-hundred-year history of textile manufacturing has provided an unparalleled foundation for understanding of how fabric can enrich daily life. With like-minded mills and collaborators locally and globally, HBF Textiles explores the myriad of possibilities materiality can offer—from contract performance to sustainability—and how it can further connect us with other people and our environment.

La Duna's seat and back is upholstered in HBF's Stardust in the color Fluorite. Contrasting Sister Solid in Tranquil is applied to the ends.

Curated colors from these three collections are now included in The Textile Edit.

Stardust
Stardust is a speckled tweed pattern with hints of brightly accented slub yarns, reflecting the vastness of the cosmos and a starlit sky.

Sister Solid
The nudibranch, or more commonly referred to as a sea slug, has gills on its back and a closer look reveals a beautiful texture which inspired the soft but slightly bumpy textile. The sheen of this "chainmail" like material gives the allure of a woven metallic cloth.

Tête-à-Tête
A two-tone conversation around color creates a dialogue of hushed tones and brash deep voices. Speaking the language of hues, Tête-à-Tête links a variety of colors to create an intricate, high-performing woven upholstery.
